House Royal recently won a Non-Test Free Barony Challenge Grant, and Gloria Blaze decided to give it to me.

As I am already a title holder the Dueling House Cup - Winning House grant will be gifted to House Royal member Michelle Montoya.
With respect,
Upon reviewing the record, you have only defended once against Warlady Amaris. Since then you have fought relatively little in the rings, only once for Madness last cycle and twice the cycle prior to that. Your anniversary is coming up, so we shall celebrate and get you in the ring once more.
Regards,
Michelle Montoya

Tonight saw challenger Michelle Montoya, who had received her House challenge grant from teammate and Old Temple Baroness Gloria Blaize, facing the one-year(!) reigning Baron of New Haven Alasdair Galloway for his title. Michelle fought under the white and gold banner of House Royal, named Eden Parker as her second, and fought for the honor of her teammates; while Alasdair fought under a banner of green and midnight blue, and named his second and lady of honor as his ( <3 VALENTINE <3 ) Max Lager.
Alasdair decided on a single match format, and took the first lead of the night! He and Michelle kept it close in the first four rounds, but by the sixth she had a two-point lead which she maintained with a trade in the seventh, winning her challenge 5-3. After the challenge, Michelle aligned loyal to the Overlord, Jewell Ravenlock.
