April's full moon is know as the Pink Moon. Not because it is pink but rather the nickname comes from folklore — a reference to moss pink, or wild ground phlox, whose pinkish flowers are among spring's earliest flowers. But while the moon might not be pink on this evening, Twilight Isle's dueling area will be! On Tuesday, April 7th from 8p-1a ET, come out to Twilight Isle to celebrate the magic of Spring with an evening of dueling, desserts, and the much awaited announcement for the winner of the Dream of Spring event to name a new Keeper of the Tower of Earth!
The Isle is awash in enough pink to stun even Eden Parker. Flowering sakura trees (smaller than the giant one in the middle of the isle) encircle the dueling area, perpetually dropping a gentle rain of silken petals. They call out the cherry blossom deer that have been frequent visitors as of late, emboldening them enough that patrons can often times reach out and touch them (gently of course).
Just inside and to the right of the portal, a yukata vendor peddles handmade yukatas and haoris in soft pastel shades and novel patterns. Tables piled with baked goods of all kinds flank either side of the bar, the latter of which is stocked with several signature cocktails for the night.
