Twilight Isle Presents: A Dream of Spring
Image

The Dream of Spring has swept all throughout the Twilight Isle. Cherry blossoms dance in the air while the newly grown giant sakura tree stands tall in the middle of the isle.

Benches and prime picnic locations await all those who venture close. Cherry Blossom deer bound and prance nearby with nearby druids who instruct those who come to view the tree to write out their wishes for spring on nearby white ribboned cards to be hung from the giant Sakura of Spring.

The Tower of Earth awaits duelists who wish to dance magically among the windswept sakura petals. Starting Monday, March 2nd 2020 and ending Saturday, April 4th 2020 — participating duelists may begin matching wits with their fellow combatants to achieve eight or more regulation duels.

Using the Ring of Klytus cycle rankings, the duelist with the highest win percentage at eight regulation duels or more will be announced as the winner and new Keeper of the Tower of Earth on Tuesday, April the 7th during the Beneath the Pink Moon - A Night of Sweets & Treats Tuesday Night Event!

Participants wishing to Sign up to be in the running for the Tower of Earth have from now until the night of Saturday, April 4th to post their intent so that their duels during the time period will be counted.

(( OOC: Feel free to respond to this thread with both intentions of signing up for the event, as well as posting your characters Dream for Spring if they add it to the tree! There's no dueling required for those wanting to just post notes and you will still receive an icon for participation! ))

After jotting her wish on the beribboned card, Maggie folded it into something resembling a flower and tied it onto the tree.

She also left a message:
The Tower of Earth has been held by someone in my family at least three times. I'd like to join those competing to hold its key.

I probably will not get to eight duels between now and April 4, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, I believe is how the saying goes?

Trees had long been one of her favorite sanctuaries, so Josie did not want to miss her chance to see the cherry blossoms in all of their splendor as they bloomed. It was a special window of time that she cherished when the air itself seemed to be filled with the enchantment of Spring.

Claiming one of the picnic tables nearby, she sat quietly to enjoy her lunch and lose herself in dreamily watching the cherry blossom petals and deer perform their own unique dance. The ballerina drew much of her inspiration from the way things moved in nature and took every opportunity she could to find a quiet moment in her day to sit and observe.

When she was finished with her lunch, she approached the magnificent tree to take a closer look and beamed a smile at the druid. Following their instructions, she wrote out her wish for Spring before gently attatching it with the lovely white ribbon to the giant Sakura.

Congratulations to Rachael Blackthorne who won the A Dream of Spring Event with a 75% win rate! She was gifted the Key to the Tower of Earth this evening at the Beneath the Pink Moon Event, which was housed in this decorative and keepsake box!

For second place, Jaycy Ashleana will also receive this keepsake box delivered to her shop in Dockside! Inside is a special Earth magic infused wand for personal use, in and outside of the dueling rings!
