((OOC)) 2019 Madness Division Name discussion and voting!

Hello DoS Community! We're opening up this discussion today to see what members of the community would like to see as the division names for this years Madness Tournament!

Historical Names?
Colors?
Animals?
Who knows!

This is an open forum to discuss or promote your idea for possible division names. I'll gather what's suggested on the 19th and hold a vote. The top 3 choices will then be put to a vote that will end on the 1st of March. The winner of the top 3 choices will then become the division names for the 2019 Madness Tournament.

You might want to think of 4 Maximum Division Names and 2 Minimum Division names! Since we're not sure how many duelists will be taking part in Madness.

Seconding Harris' suggestion. Might have to stick first and last name in for Maria Graziano's division, since there are multiple Grazianos kicking around?

I'm opening up the vote a day early since we've only gotten two suggestions. Anywho, polling only allows 10 options to choose from so it'll be simple to do it in thread response format. Here are the options. **No new suggestions will be taken.**

1. First Four Madness Winners ( Dragoon-Talandor, Sah Tarna, Eludes, Graziano) / First Two Madness Winners (Dragoon-Talandor, Sah Tarna).

Simply write out / quote your choice from the list and respond to this thread for your vote. I'm going to assume Delahada and Bailey's vote will be for Harris' idea, but if you'd like to change that, feel free to correct me. Please be sure to include a Minimum Division choice ( the choices with 2 names ) and a Maximum Division choice ( choices with 4 names ).

I know this is the vote phase, so feel free to ignore, but 2 other suggestions:

Earliest Madness winners not yet honored with division names:

Rakeesh Sah Tarna
Tormay Eludes
Maria Graziano (just use Graziano and it could also serve Myria's 2017 win, even though I'm generally opposed to bestowing this sort of recognition to a still active character)

4 of the 5 first female overlords (excluding Siera, since Redwin is already pretty well mentioned)

I vote for #1, both for a 4-division and a 2-division Madness tournament, but I am not opposed to either of Kalamere's ideas (early Madness winners or first female Overlords), if people would prefer not to use G's name since he's already had a division named for him in the past.

I’ll jump in here to say I’m officially voting for #1.

It’s not unheard of or unwarranted for characters to be honored with a division more than one year, often consecutively. In both 2016 & 2017 Valmion, Ramirez, Max, and Monk were the divisions if memory serves me. 2014 & 2015 saw Karnafexx and Ganderfald divisions both years.

I don’t really see a reason to stray from the tradition of honoring characters when there’s such a deep well to draw from.
