People of the Dueling Community!

Hello again. That's right. It's me. Once again overjoyed and honored to be chosen to officiate a challenge. This one for the title of Overlord!

The challenger, E 'Silent Everything' Smith fought under the marvelous FIGHT E FIGHT banner. He elected no Second for this challenge and listed no People of Honor.

The defender, Matt 'Fight Me I'm Old' Simon fought under the yellow and black banner. His Second this evening was Andrea 'Apple' Anderson and his People of Honor were listed as Koy, Thia, and Malachite.

The Overlord decided to put E through the ringer with a Test of Worthiness, choosing Andrea to act as his champion. With no renegades to stand up on his behalf, E had to take her on himself!

The pair of them started off keeping each other on their toes, but as soon as Andrea took the lead she made off with it like a boss. E started to make a spectacular comeback, but in the end she caught him and put a stop to his advance after eleven rounds.

Nicely tried, E! Well defended on Matt's behalf, Andrea!

Round 1: "They're both starting off cautious, Andrea a little extra more so than E, and in so doing neither of them land any hits. Therefore nobody scores. Come on, you two! This is a challenge! Get with the stabbity already!" ( CP / FCP ) 0 - 0

Round 2: "Oh thank you so much for listening. This is more like it! Definitely making with the stabbity! Mutually! The IMPeror would be so proud!" Throws glitter confetti! "Blood everywhere! Points for everybody! Tied at ones." ( TH / TH ) 1 - 1

Round 3: "I bet E's actually really good at limbo on other occasions, but right here's not working out in his favor. Andrea's lined up on the green. She swings. FOUR! That one's probably going to hurt in the morning, not to mention right now. The Overlord's champion takes the lead." ( FDU / LC ) 2 - 1 Apple

Round 4: "This is looking a lot like the first round, except their guardin' their head more'n their legs and both of 'em are puttin' just that extra amount of twitch into the defensive maneuvers. Neither of them lands a hit and scores, though, so Andrea keeps the lead and we move on. Next!" ( FLP / FLP ) 2 - 1 Apple

Round 5: "Be. Aggressive! Be-e aggressive! Where's Grace with all those pompoms I gave 'er when I need 'er? Ah well. Anyway. E and Andrea both swing low and crack their weapons against each other. Still no score change! Come on!" ( LC / LC ) 2 - 1 Apple

 Round 6: "Doubling back together! It's like watching a dance. A fierce, angry dance where they're both trying to lop each other's heads off but instead their weapons get in the way and create sweet, sweet music! And we move on with the score being the same." ( HC / HC ) 2 - 1 Apple

Round 7: "Oh blast. I mentioned dancing already. Well this time Andrea's showing us her moves. I wonder, does she have a background in ballet? I know you do, Maggie!" Points at her. "Oh right. But here--" Points at the ring. "Andrea's extendng her lead with some fancy footwork." ( FCP / FSS ) 3 - 1 Apple

Round 8: "Ey, batter-batter. Swing, batter-batter. Andrea swings. She hits!" Sets a hand over his brow and peers into the distance. "It's a home ru-- Oh wait. Not yet. Almost. She runs the bases to sit pretty at match point, at least." ( SH / HC ) 4 - 1 Apple

Round 9: "I think that knock upside the head helped E put his brain back together. He's clearly not ready to give up yet! He puts on his dancing shoes and slips around Andrea's defense to tag himself a point." ( FSS / FCP ) 4 - 2 Apple

Round 10: "Andrea tries to bring this to a quick finish, but E's ready for her! He throws up the blockade to keep her at bay and snags another point. Creeping up on her lead. This could still go either way. Are you on the edge of your seat? You should be!" ( SH / TH ) 4 - 3 Apple

Round 11: "I didn't say it. The jinxing is not my fault. As exciting as it was to see him making a come-back, it just is not meant to be! E swings high and right into Andrea's awaiting defense. She takes the win and puts an end to Mr. Smith's present Overlord asperations. Not worthy!" ( HC / FLP ) 5 - 3 Apple
