Challenge for New Haven (WLT grant)

Andrea,

While deciding how to use my grant, my decision ultimately came down to New Haven or Battlefield Park. Melanie's challenge and Kalamere's alignment tilted me toward New Haven instead of BP (nevermind I have enough ghosts of my own, I don't need more). So here I am. It's nothing personal.

Looking forward to the challenge.

I was there tonight and I took lots of notes! And when I dropped them, Dris was great and helped me collect them again.

Claire was using her grant that she just won in the Warlord Tournament to challenge for New Haven, but didn't fight the proxy Peaches, but fought Apple and she defended.

Claire fought under Dirty's Pink & Black banner, with Zack Alcar as her second. Her people of Honor was all of Team Dirty (that means Pink & Black too), Serah Farron, Adelaide Alcar and Avy and Alex Caelum.

Andrea -- but I call her Apple, had no banner, but Rayvinn was her second and Lilith was her person of honor.

Apple wanted this to be a one and done show so here's the play by play if you're into that!

New Haven 1: Apple is going wild with her swing, but Claire is stabbing for first blood. (SL/TH, 1 Claire)
New Haven 2: Apple cuts high and Claire cuts low. Everyone wins! Err... Scores. (HC/LC, 2 - 1 Claire)
New Haven 3: Apple cuts Claire's fancy dance moves short for the tie! (LC/FSS, 2 All)
New Haven 4: Apple stops Claire's thrust with a parry for the point! (FCP/TH, 3 - 2 Apple)
New Haven 5: Another slice down low takes Apple to match point. Can she be stopped? Not this round! (LC/SH, 4 - 2 Apple)
New Haven 6: Another wild swing! Claire aims low and scores. (SL/LC, 4 - 3 Apple)
New Haven FINAL: Claire aims for a straight forward thrust, but Apple moves just out of range and closes out her defense! (FSS/TH, 5 - 3 Apple)

It was a quick down and dirty (but clean) fight tonight in the gardens where Apple defended her Barony in seven rounds. Per Proxy Peaches, New Haven remains Loyal.
