All Hail the Czarina: A Party

To celebrate Rayvinn and Kalamere’s hostile takeover of the Arena, Jewell has commandeered Kal’s business--The Line--for a SURPRISE PARTY.

The Line is located in Dragon’s Gate, not far from the Red Dragon Inn and accompanying dueling venues. The party is a perfect opportunity to congratulate (or commiserate with) the new rulers of the Arena before leaving to enjoy that evening’s Talon Tournament.

Presents are not required, but Jewell will totally judge all guests that arrive empty handed.

In return, she has provided delicious drinks (tailored to the guests of honor) as well as yummy food.

As soon as Kal departed for the Arena to conclude some business with Raye, Jewell descended upon The Line to prepare for the party. How did she know he was gone? She may have been hiding near the RedOrc Brewery, watching for him.

There may have been some dark looks from Jerry as she used a bit of glamour to "make the place look a bit prettier" for the afternoon. That was countered easily in the usual Empress way: lots of smiles, a touch to his arm, a kiss on his cheek, and heartfelt thanks because he was such a huge help!

Rath was a bit more troublesome. After the second time he ate all the bacon bits for the mashed potato bar, Jewell had to run down the street in her pretty, red high heels to the restaurant and request another bowl plus a container filled with all the bacon they had remaining on the premises to keep the half-ogre happy.

After that, it was easy-peasy for the Faerie socialite: make sure the drinks and food were in order, smooth out her blue hair, and put on her best smile to play her part of hostess with the mostess. And judge people without presents!

Jewell hadn't told her about the party but she had told her to look fabulous because she was taking her to a party. Her dress even perfectly matched her bruise mottled face!

Surprise! Eva was happy to celebrate Raye and Kal's new authority over the Arena. And she was even happier to get a little buzz going before heading to the Iron Fists Garden for some IFL matches.
