DoS Administration Change.
I'm sure a good portion of you know this, but some of you don't, starting November 1st, 2015, I'm resigning the position of DoS Supervisor. When I took this position back from Norah, I was just set to be an interim coordinator which later became permanent. Time has passed, and now it's time for me to pass on the mantle.
Beginning November First, I'm handing leadership of the Duel of Swords over to the player of Gabby Alexandros. Since she's come on early in the year, she has helped me a great deal, not only for stabilizing the Duel of Swords, but also for helping give me peace of mind. She truly has been a terrific addition to the Admin team and I am ever so grateful she took the job.
Now that she has been well trained and experienced in how things are run in Duel of Swords, it's time to reward her (and myself) by giving her the title of Duel of Swords Coordinator. This means that starting on November First, she will be THE Head Woman In Charge of DoS. All the authority is hers, all the final says, and alllllll the responsibilities, too! haha.
She is not going to be taking it over alone, however. I wouldn't do that to her. No, it's not me, I'm done. Gabby's assistant coordinator is going to be Kalamere's player. He has agreed to bring his valued experience and abilities to the position in effort to keep the Duel of Swords as stable as it has been.
For myself, I'm more looking forward to going back to being just a Player, which means, maybe, I play, one day perhaps even get a duel in! Hey, you may even see a post from me! Nobody knows for sure!
So, it has been an ...interesting.. 8+ years running the show. but now, it's over. Gabby's player brings a fresher perspective than I have, and I'm certain that a player with her caliber will be very good for the DoS.
Try to Support her, and don't bother her too much before November with DoS issues, they'll still come to me. After November, try not to slam her too hard with things. Be gradual. She's a good choice. No abusing her or pulling one of those "I've been here this long so you should do what I say!" type of thing. Support them. I do. Gabby has my fullest confidence, faith, trust and Arena.
Well, that's all I have. No, I am not completely leaving but I am likely going to be more scarce. If you ask me if I am completely quitting or leaving the duels forever, I'm going to know you DIDN'T read the whole post and will point you back to this. Don't send me an IM joking about it either, I won't find it funny. Thank you.
Good luck Gabby and Kal, and may whatever gods you believe in... have mercy on your soul!

Few of us really know the extent of work that goes on behind the scenes to keep a sport running smoothly and the challenges of trying to do what's right for everyone. Thanks for doing the impossible.
There isn't a better duo to step in for the task and it's going to be an exciting time to be involved with DoS for sure

Just want to echo what's been said so well already. Thank you for your hard work, G. While I haven't been around the dueling side very long, it's certainly long enough to appreciate what a big job you and all of the coordinators have. I appreciate it.
And thank you Gabby and Kalamere for stepping up to the plate.
