Season 3 Wrap-Up

Post by Hydra Corporation »

Hydra’s 3rd season is officially over and this has to have been, hands down, the best one yet. Upsets, Cinderella stories, and a lot of DCK jokes! This season had it all. Anubis even got in a few duels this time. (the editor is golf clapping, A for effort). And once more Xanth was a juggernaut among the competitors, so Mai’s Lich-crush continues.

Thirty fighters spread out through six teams joined up at the beginning. In the first few weeks it looked like Chemical Burn had the season in a Sith Force-grip until the Rock Hards stepped in for aggressive negotiations and took the top spot clear into the start of the post-season. And all the DCK jokes along the way.

This season also saw its first Shut-Out that ended in a TKO. Canaan Devellier vs Rachael Douglas. That boy didn’t open a can of whupass, he did a kegstand then spiked it like a volleyball.

The end of the post-season looked pretty cut and dry then Team Fist pulled the greatest blitz in Hydra’s short history. Bottom of the standings to top of the leaderboard faster than Gabby eats cupcakes! When it comes to duelists, Kheldar is some sort of sleeper cell...or maybe some anime character. Five weeks of building up energy and then just unleashes it in a single 5-1 duel that no one saw coming.
