Challenge for Dragon's Gate

Post by Shadowlord »

Baron Ekthbjlgke,

I once held the Dragon's Gate barony, and would like to try my hand at regaining it. You're an excellent fighter, and I look forward to facing you in the ring once more.

I hereby challenge for Dragon's Gate.

The Baron and I have agreed to meet this Saturday, May 30th, at 9:30 by Rhy'din's clock (ET). Claire will be calling.

This went down tonight and I was there to watch. Shadow dueled under the Dirty pink and black with Rayvinn as his lady of honor and Zack Alcar as his second. E dueled under no colors with no second and no person of honor. E elected a single duel format. Here's the breakdown:

Code: Select all

DG 1: Shadow's coming in low but E's round parry holds him off and garners E the opening point (FCP/LC) 1 E
DG 2: Shadow puts on his dancing shoes but E's like "Nope, off with your head!" (HC/FSS) 2 E
DG 3: Shadow's on the board, tripping up E as he tries out that whole dancing thing (FSS/LC) 2-1 E
DG 4: The Warlord's dropping it low-low to twerk down under E's parry to tie it up (FLP/FDU) 2 All
DG 5: That is a rather IMP-tastically spectacular moment. Very nice, gentlement (TH/TH) 3 All
DG 6: Open season on Baron E, Shadow declares it duck season and golf time all in one with a low swing for E (FDU/LC) 3-4 Shadow
DG 7: Shadow doubles up on his cuts and finds E up high too. No points for either. (HC/HC) 3-4 Shadow
DG 8: Shadow goes for the triple, catches E low and reclaims Dragons Gate for his own! (FSS/LC)

((Final: Shadowlord .def. Ekthbjlgke, 5-3 in 8.))
After eight rounds, Shadow reclaims Dragons Gate. Well reigned E and well won Shadow.
