Every night of the week, and twice of Saturdays, dozens of men and women are pressured into engaging in public displays of physical prowess.
The duels while entertaining, are not meant to be entered into lightly. Engaging in unsafe dueling has many latent effects not limited to...brain damage, masochism, pugilism, gambling, alcoholism, Imp-Fandom, meeting Jesse, and exposure to Harris.

This cycle of violence is harmful to our city's youth. Every day an innocent boy or girl is rushed to local care physicians for attempting to recreate moves performed by their favorite dueling star. Young children on the street run up to strangers quoting G 3:16 "thou shalt not slash". A RhyBurger employee was recorded assaulting a customer with a spinning back-fist after they asked to add a sandwich to their order.

Please, if you must duel. I encourage each and every one of you to practice safe dueling. Make sure you know the consequences of shoving a blunted object inside someone, as well as a sword.

Before dueling, make sure you're magic ward compatible. Don't wait until you're in the midst of a lunge to find yourself without protection.

For the older generation, consult your physician before dueling and procure a Rhydin Life Alert bracelet. If, in the course of a duel you fall and are unable to get up. Activate the signal on your bracelet and goblins from the Isle will come and assist you. Whether you want them or not. Isle staff will not be responsible for missing wallets or personal items discovered after receiving assistance."
