I was asked to call this challenge, and it was a fine display of magic by both participants.

These are the specific spells the combatants used against each other:
Breeze 1. The Keeper brings dark, eldritch might to bear upon the challenger, who is yet skilled enough to reply with a matching bolt of magic. Each scores. (MB/NR) 1-1

Breeze 2. While the challenger seeks, perhaps, to draw blood, a cold reply from the Keeper prevents this. And more. Point to the Keeper. (WB/AB) 2-1 Jade

Breeze 3. While she lacks affinity with the element of Earth, the Keeper assembles her power in a barrage, overcoming the challenger's next bolt-spell in spectacular fashion. (FMB/FMS) 3.5-1 Jade

Breeze 4. The Keeper displays no mercy nor quarter, smashing away powerful fear-magic with the gifts of her Key and element. (FFT/EF) 4.5-1 Jade

Breeze 5. Even fouling the air will not allow the Keeper to affect the challenger, who finds reprieve in dematerialization. (GF/FF) 4.5-1.5 Jade

Breeze 6. The elf sends another spell of fear at the Keeper. This time, it works, and narrows Jade's lead further. (FT/FMB) 4.5-2.5 Jade

Breeze 7. The challenger's physical display of magic is faster, and thus overcomes, the Keeper's mental might. (MB/MW) 4.5-3.5 Jade

Breeze 8. Yet, the challenger's mental might can find the Keeper, even when she is not of this plane. We have reached a tie, and sudden death. (MW/GF) 4.5-4.5

Breeze 9. In this duel, the power of elven magic has managed to secure a victory over this mighty Keeper. Curious. (MB/FAB)

((FINAL: Dawnblade .def. Jade Alcar, 5.5-4.5 in 9))

*****

Gust 1. The elf chooses to protect herself with a defensive spell. The Keeper chooses to smash through it with extreme prejudice. (AR/FMS) 1.5-0 Jade

Gust 2. The challenger chooses not to shed her blood for our entertainment. A shame, but understandable. (FGF/FWB) 1.5-1 Jade

Gust 3. The challenger's subsequent defense holds, and she is able to tie the score against the Keeper's magical bolt. (AR/MB) 1.5-1.5

Gust 4. Again we see the Keeper using dark, eldritch might, and again, the challenger keeps the score tied with her own bolt. (MB/NR) 2.5-2.5

Gust 5. The challenger takes the lead, obscuring herself from the Keeper's powerful, impressive bolt. (FF/FMB) 3-2.5 Dawnblade

Gust 6. Apparently the Keeper is not a fan of losing the lead, her shielding sufficient to stave off fear and tie the score. (FT/SH) 3-3

Gust 7. The elf's sorcerous armor is insufficient to protect her from the unsettling magic the Keeper brings to bear. (AR/FT) 3.5-3 Jade

Gust 8. The challenger adds additional magical might to the spell she sends toward the Keeper, whose mental strike is slower. (FMB/MW) 4.5-3.5 Dawnblade

Gust 9. It seemes as they are both conserving their magical powers in this round, as neither lands a spell upon the other. (AR/DP) 4.5-3.5 Dawnblade

Gust 10. The Keeper sends forth another magical bolt of power; yet it strikes only the concealing spell of the challenger, who is victorious in this second match, and this challenge. (FF/MB)

((FINAL: Dawnblade .def. Jade Alcar, 5-3.5 in 10))
Thus, in two duels did Venalia Dawnblade achieve victory, and the right to hold the Key and Tower of Air.

Congratulations to Venalia Dawnblade, and well tried, Jade Alcar.

While annoying to even pen these words. I must thank you, Drow, for your aid in officiating this match.

As stated in my challenge. I have won this tower for my Moon and Stars. I ask that those of the Isle stay far away from the Tower of Air so that her and I can spend our time together in peaceful tranquility.
