Challenge for Overlord

Rakeesh Sah Tarna,

Now that you have won your challenge against Ticallion Carter, I hereby challenge you for the Overlord's mantle.

It is my hope that you abdicate the title prior to our challenge match - I suspect you will not. It is my hope your actions will, finally, follow your words and that you will focus your full attention upon combating the Myr'Khul - I suspect you will not.

I suspect that you will retain the Overlordship and fight this challenge believing that retaining the Overlord's title will somehow rectify your great wrongs and redeem yourself in the eyes of those who live in Old Temple and throughout Rhdyin. I suspect you will fight this challenge out of selfish desire for some sort of personal glory. Glory you will not obtain should you beat me, just as you have not obtained it in defeating Ticallion Carter.

You call for peace in one breath and threaten to make me pray for death with the next. You spew hatred in the failed guise of concern and you decieve at every turn. You cannot see past your own shortcomings and the harm they do to others. That is why I believe you will fight this challenge.

I hope you prove me wrong and step down for the good of the citizens you profess to want to serve and for the good of the dueling sports so tainted by your actions.

To the citizens of Rhydin and especially of Battlefield Park: should Rakeesh not step down and should I win this challenge and he take the Baron's seat, I will do my utmost to ensure he does not hold it long. I will not allow him to bring harm to the district and its citizens for whom it has been my utmost privilege to serve.

P.S. The thought of having to root for Matt leaves me slightly nauseous. I wonder if this is how G'nort felt having to root for Crew last night.
