Clearly this was in reference to a Warlord, Screechbat. Just saying.

After an hour delay(in which it seems the baron was in a really bad brawl), Rak took 17 rounds to keep his claim on the Old Temple barony.

Following an hour delay, in which it looked like Rak had already been in a brawl(rumors had it it was with Tara or a combination of Tara and Jesse), Rak arrived at the Arena to do battle with Marric Dorslve. After entering the room, the Baron went straight to the ring to allow the wards to heal while an outside battle debated whether the challenge should continue. Marric decided to go forth with the challenge.

The Baron dueled under the blue and white banner of the Champions of Mythos. He had no second and his lady of honor was Aenlyn, in absentia.

The challenger dueled under a white flag embossed with a white pond lily. His second was Rhiannon Brock and his lady of honor was Nicole Brock.

The Baron chose a single format.

Rak scored in three of the first four rounds before Marric put a halt to that. A short break before a trade lead to another longer break. By this time, both combantants were out of fancies and it became a bit slower to score but Marric did so, inching forward to come within a half point. Another break then Rak started coming back, in 16 putting a break on an incoming assault then giving the challenger a haircut, 5.5-3.5

Congratulations to Rak on his defense and to Marric for giving him a battle worthy of the one he had before he arrived.
