For the record, I'm not happy about this and think there should have been a stand-in proxy like Anubis got way back when. It's not my fault this dude just up and bailed.

Well then we are choosing the proxy via this tournament. As a concession your right to challenge had been returned and should you not win the tournament, you will be eligible to challenge the new holder.
