Yup, it happened!
Fire and Ice flew over the Outback as the famed home of the Duel of Fists saw not one, but two challenges happen at the same time! Matt met Wyheree in the Ice half of the doubleheader, and he came out on top!
The first match took place up high on Styx. Matt, despite having designed the ring, seemed unimpressed with the decision to begin the epic battle on the beams. But he complied! And it was a quick match, too! Matt took the first one after only 7 rounds, scoring 5 while only allowing the Ice Lady-wannabe to score 2!
Matt def. Wyh, 5-2 in 7 rounds.
The second match came back to the ground – kind of! The combatants were sent into the Pool. That earned more dirty looks from the Outback’s owner (and yes, IceDancer’s holder). But who cares! Not only did he allow Court to build an ice rink-type ring (back when the world was new and before the last burning down of the place) but he’s the one who let the Pool be rebuilt after mass destruction!
Besides, did Matt forget what Opal he holds? ICE-Dancer? The Pool sure sounds like an Opal-Happy ring from here! So into it they went! And they got wet! (Well, duh.) And Matt let Wyh score more! But not much more, honestly. He kept her to 3 points before taking home the win and the defense.
