Challenge for Old Temple

Post by Red urThorne »

Miss Harker,

I'm thinking it's time for me to have another round of fun with a challenge. Our battle at the Warlord Tourney that won you the ring you hold was pretty epic, and I think a rematch would be a lot of fun!

I look forward to hearing from you.

Miss Thorne,

As per the rules of the sport, I accept your challenge.

The following officials on record are known to me and are acceptable for our match if any wish to call for us: Corlanthis, Dioxane, Dris, G'nort, Matt Simon, Harris, Imp, Jake, Jaycy, Kalamere, Lily, Misty, Pslyder, Rand, Rekah, Rory, Sai, Sinjin, Tass, Wyh, Xenograg, and the Roman. While I believe my father of the heart, Tass, to be a fair and impartial official, I will understand if you were to refuse him due to a possible conflict of interest.

Would Friday, June the 10 or Sunday the 12th be acceptable to you?

Baroness,

Sunday the 12th would be preferable. And there is no universe where I would refuse Tass, none.

I look forward to the contest and I truly believe it will be a fun event.

Red,

Sunday the 12th it is and Tass has agreed to call for us. Will 10 PM RDT also be agreeable?

I look forward to meeting you in the ring.

I rather hope you win Red. That might be just enough to keep me from re-challenging Gwen. Challenge you instead. Either would be easy wins as long as I could keep the caller from sleeping with you......employing a group of punt daemons.........run and tattling to the Overlord. You know, the things Gwen did.

It's so hard to believe that the community of active warlords would allow someone as unskilled as you to even consider a title......

.....apathy I guess.

Well, good luck and what not.

Do I know you? For someone that names themselves the "greatest" I'm pretty sure I don't. You obviously don't know me as the only man I sleep with isn't an official. As for the rest... make excuses much? I think I shall dub thee whiner boy.

Anyone want to take bets on what excuses Whiner boy will use the next time he loses a challenge?

As much as I like to gamble, Madame Red, even I do not go for what is called a sucker bet, such as the situation that you described.

Once again, Monsieur Peahen, be silent and stop proving yourself to be the greatest fool.

I just wonder what other excuses he's going to make for his losses. Obviously he can't blame himself.

Red,

Mr. Byrne should apparently seek employment at the nearest hot air balloon factory as a filler.

As for that bet, my best guess is he blames everyone but himself.

Miss Wynter,

I realize you are calling his masculinity into question. However, peacock, not peahen, is quite appropriate for Mr. Byrne. The sound those lovely male birds tend to make is loud and attention getting much like his blustering. The mating call is a particular eye opener.

Rhiannon Harker

Mr. Byrne,

Clearly you have no idea who Red 'ur Thorne is. I'm guessing you never met Jeff Oakenshield either. Red was ranked as a Warlord long before anyone ever heard of you, Mr. Byrne. The greatest duelists do not go around announcing that they are. Their record speaks for itself.

I find it interesting that you have accused your opponents of all sorts of things, yet, it was you who left the lady, Elessaria, standing in the ring in during the first round of the Madness tournament.

The more I read this, the more I'm convinced asking Guaire to test was genius.

Guaire - All this verbosity is just a prolonged death rattle, before next Sunday it will probably be pleading. One by one all these female renegades will fall.

Crazy lady - I appreciate the fact that you challenged her during her vacation. These horsegoblins must go. Your actions merit my highest stamp of approval.

Rix,

Which knucklehead? The so called greatest named Guaire Byrne or the current Overlord who hates women that don't agree with him?
