Gondar Division: Siera Redwin vs. Damien Mortis

First Round: Maria Graziano vs. Siera Redwin proved to very much resemble the blockbuster that it looks like on paper. Frankly, there was never a moment when the tallies were not either tied or close to it, and the constant, unremitting shifts in momentum were too numerous to list. In the end, Siera may have gotten a lift from her mystique...it may not have been much, but in a matchup this close, any advantage at all would prove crucial. And so it was.

Much the same type of mystique is affixed to the name of Gondar as well...but it didn't help him much, if at all. In the end, it came down to this: Most people may or may not have heard that Gondar was very good, but they have seen that Damien Mortis is very good. The end result was a clobbering in the neighborhood of 20 votes to four of five.

Past History: None at all...although it is possible that Siera died around roughly the same time that Damien lost his arm.

"Common Links" in Challenge and Tournament Duels: N/A. Given that Siera dueled all of her challenge matches in a five month period that transpired four years before Damien first laid eyes on the Arena, this isn't surprising.
