"Common Links" in Challenge Duels: Dalamar lost to Cletus Ganderfald three times in the challenge ring; he lost the Overlordship to him in his second reign, and lost to him in two Intercession duels...one, which was technically Ganderfald's first challenge duel ever, was a shutout loss. By contrast, Shakira defeated Ganderfald to successfully defend the Overlordship, the only time that Cletus ever lost an Overlord Challenge as the challenger.

Notable Facts: This pits the most defendingest Overlord of all time against the second most defendingest. Really, it almost doesn't seem fitting that this match is occuring as early as the second round!

First Round: Within hours of the posting of the Dalamar/Rabmallet duel, it was obvious that Dal was going to win. Within two days, it was an all out blowout. Two days later, it stopped resembling a duel and started resembling something that you call the cops over. It helped to have been on the boards and eligible for voting longer than anyone else, but Dalamar Ar'Daumon garnered 27 votes...more than any other duelist. Rabmallet garnered...none. I agreed that this would be a blowout, but poor Rab!

Tormay Eludes...well, he did better than his fellow Atreblan, I can say that much for him. Shakira took a very strong early lead...however, Tormay made a strong showing over the weekend, but Shakira remained strong as well. While not as ugly as Dalamar/Rabmallet, this was still something of a blowout. Honestly, I was really surprised.
