Inter-site Crossover play

Post by DUEL Michiko »

I had an idea and wanted to see how it would be received.

I know there are a number of player run businesses and I wanted to see if people would like to have sponsorships in the duels...

Michiko here has a job in marketing soda so I would be willing to start it off.

I just happened across a post from Risa on the DM board. I hope to work something out with her mixing in a duel of magic prize with one of her themed host events. DoM is a business of sorts, isn't it?

Misty, would you like to 'sponsor'? Maybe get a goblin or two nifty little hats with your ship's logo on it? Some time back Des had one get a cowboy hat and the wee little guy or gal even followed her to the inn for a while. I'd just absolutely love to see the wee green ones played more. Of course we can't have them all wander off the isle.

How do you plan on going about the sponsorship with your soda marketing business? I'd love to hear some specific details and see you RP it out.

It is part of DeMuer Imports. DeMuer does cross-realms import/export business.

Zeppa is an all natural lemon-lime soda that the Truebloods seem to enjoy. Plus there is coffees, the Silver Mark Ales and Laylla is signing up with Her Merlots.

I'm thinking of stuff like playing out the stocking of the bars, Maybe have A company come in and sponsor duels, or even sponsor rising stars for training.

Like you see in sports.

In another thread Melantha pointed out a few ideas that we could use and I got to thinking about the settings in the RoH and realized, we have a complete bar for the site with chat room and forum call the Great Helm Tavern which no one has been using lately at all.

Maybe a couple of nights a week open up the Tavern to straight up RP to introduce people that come to RoH to the play and such?

I think it deserves mentioning that this same topic is being discussed in tremendously more detail on Mutual Endeavors, under the General Discussion forum which is open and available for reading to the public.

The topic of discussion is Looking for an Opinion, direct link provided for your convenience.

Since this is a matter that concerns the Rings of Honor site specifically, I feel that it should be brought to the attention of the members and administrative staff here. There are quite a lot of ideas being tossed around over on Mutual Endeavors that have not been brought up here, nor on Dragon's Mark, where the same topic was presented for discussion.
