By the letter of the rules Rakeesh couldn't award this cycle's Overlord Grant without defeating me, he didn't. Cas was granted last cycle's Overlord Grant. I have a Grant to award to someone.
I will hold a tournament on August the 6th at 9:30(est) in the Annex to determine who will receive this cycle's grant. The following list is the particulars and rules of this tournament.
#1 As Overlord, I will select three people to compete in this tournament.
#2 Each Baron will be allowed and is encouraged to select one person to compete in this tournament.
#3 This will be a single elimination tournament.
#4 In the interest of fairness, each contestant will be granted/limited to one fancy per duel.
#5 The winner may decline the Grant, however, the winner may not pass the Grant on to another. Should the winner decline the Grant, it will go to the runner up and so on, and so on.
Once per cycle, the Overlord may grant to a duelist of any rank Commoner through Warlord the right to challenge any Baron of the duelist's choosing. The Overlord must declare his or her choice of duelist on the public message board. The Overlord may not grant the challenge right during the period starting 14 days prior to the Warlord tournament and ending with the challenge match between the Overlord and the tournament winner
