The Two-Face stuff was too rushed... I, and many of my friends, were expecting Two-Face to be the main villian for the third movie.

I just got back from seeing Dark Knight.

Dent/Two-Face.. I didn't feel too was too rushed, but I agree that he fell from grace rather quickly. Psychological aspects could do that to you. I didn't like the fate they gave him. (Trying to avoid spoilers, btw)

I don't really like Bale as Batman, but he does a decent enough job, I think.

Eckhart as Dent.. did okay, but wasn't exactly grand. However, he *completely* makes me forget the pathetic, laughable, wretched Dent/Two-Face character from "Batman Forever" Thank whatever gods you believe in.

I'm so.. so sad he is gone, and this movie gives me another reason for why. There is not one person who can play this Joker like he did, and it was so incredibly well done. I wasn't floored by the performance(as many people indicated I could be). Oscar Nomination? Maybe. But the more I absorb the movie, and believe me, it needs absorption because of how how well done it is, the more I find myself seeing the Joker played by Heath Ledger as one of the best villain performances that I can remember.

A villain who does what he does simply because he wants to, or as Alfred put it, "Some men just want to watch the world burn." is a villain for the ages, and Ledger just did it phenomenally. I just can't express it right.

Gary Oldman as Gordon shines. He just is an incredible actor, and I think his performance was probably the best in the movie.(To me)

I cannot thank the people involved with the current Batman Franchise enough for this re-imagining of the Character and series. It's very well written, very well directed, and very well acted.

I recommend this movie to everyone with high marks, if you haven't seen it yet. It is worth the 9$ full price admission on any evening. Though I wouldn't fault anyone for catching a matinee. It's worth the price, and everything that goes with it. Not a waste of time.

I saw it on IMAX and it rocked! I think Al's critque is about the right kind of summary. He forgot to give thanks that Katie Holmes didn't come back to play Rachel. Every generation is going to have a group in Hollywood who does the latest and greatest redux of any of the comic book series films. I am entirely thankful for the current crop of Hollywood directors/producers/writers/actors doing the current versions compared to what I have seen in the past. IMHO, I don't think anyone else in this generation should even try to play the Joker after's Ledger's performance. Twenty to thirty years from now maybe the Joker will span more than one movie, but this generation nix him from the storyline of the current films.

What I really hope this movie brings about is Hollywood's continued interest to make IMAX-like spectacular fantastical films like Dark Knight. They are greedy and even though the movie cost a lot to make, it also made it back in four days of box office sales. I love to see a movie like Dark Knight have the current money records than cheesy films like Titantic and Spiderman 3.

Ok, so I know I'm a bit behind the times here, but I just saw Dark Knight last night...blew my freaking mind. Heath Ledger as the Joker was unbelievable.

Harvey Dent, however...he really just annoyed me the entire movie.
