With the cooperation of players at the Red Dragon Inn, and players at Rings of Honor, we hope to be able to provide awards for outstanding play and players in the last year. Like the Emmys to the Oscars, the Pixie Awards are a separate entity from the Golden Dragon Awards. Our aim is to allow for more awards that will showcase the talents of players, as well as giving more opportunity for less-known writing to be praised.
The categories for the Pixie Awards were compiled by a committee of anonymous individuals from both the Red Dragon Inn and Rings of Honor that have proven themselves to be fair and objective. Nominations can be given from any player, including the committee members; however, should a committee member nominate a player, character, or storyline, they will refrain from participating in final deliberations for that category. A winner will be chosen for each category based upon the criteria involved by way of committee vote.
Nominations for each of the categories will be taken until March 24th, by PM or e-mail.
After nominations are closed, the committee consisting of both the Red Dragon Inn and Rings of Honor anonymous role players will deliberate for several days. The winners will be announced later in a live awards ceremony.

Category explanations are as follows (unless no explanation is needed):
IC Categories:
Swords Duelist of the Year - A duelist who has displayed excellence in the field of Duel of Swords. This includes but isn't limited to general dueling, winning tournaments, high ranks, consistent WoL, and activity in the past year or so.
Fists Duelist of the Year - A duelist who has displayed excellence in the field of Duel of Fists. This includes but isn't limited to general dueling, winning tournaments, high ranks, consistent WoL, and activity in the past year or so.
Magic Duelist of the Year - A duelist who has displayed excellence in the field of Duel of Magic. This includes but isn't limited to general dueling, winning tournaments, high ranks, consistent WoL, and activity in the past year or so.
Underdog Duelist of the Year - A duelist who may not achieve high rank or win tournaments or get many (if any) WoL, but they continue to work to improve their skill, and show persistence.
Mr. Rhydin - Someone who is friendly, kind, helpful, and overall nice to people. Community oriented.

Tender of the Year - A bartender who is community oriented. They go above and beyond simply serving drinks at the Inn. They introduce people, socialize, and are sure to try to include everyone. They strike the right balance between obtrusive interference and the classic "ready ear".
Caller of the Year - A caller who is community oriented. They go above and beyond simply calling duels at RoH. They introduce people, socialize, and go out of their way to make new duelists feel welcome. They're not afraid to offer tips, and have no problem with calling sometimes even when it's not their shift. They make dueling interactive and fun, and it's obvious they're there to do more than 'just call'.
Public Event of the Year - A public event that included but wasn't limited to: Advertisement of the event so many would know about it, welcomed and encouraged many to join in, and of course, was just plain fun for everyone involved.

Man Most Likely To Take Over Rhydin - The man who, by next year, is likely to own Rhydin. Be it politically, financially, by power, or business. It will be his.

The Most Adorable Male - The guy that gives you all sorts of warm fuzzies inside. He's cute, he's adorable, be it in appearance or personality. You just can't help but go 'awwww'.

Cutest Couple of the Year - A romantic couple that's sickeningly sweet, cute, or perhaps just captivating.
Dynamic Duo of the Year - A platonic pair that's always joined at the hip. One just isn't complete without the other. Even if they're not romantically involved, they're soulmates in every other sense of the word.
Business of the Year - A place that's made Rhydin that much better. That welcomes any and all to partake of its goods and/or services.
