Only minutes after Damien issued his challenge against Roland, this message was posted.
Tonight, this dimwit insisted on stepping into ring on "Damien's behalf" after claiming Roland was the best Overlord of the past few years.
He then clearly proceeded to throw the Right of Challenge duel.
I call upon the Supervisor, the Overlord, the Baron's council and the community to strip this Russian of his right to hold any title in this sport.

Seen it 'appen afor...
Had a Renegade Baron step in fer me once when I din't ask 'im to.
There ain't no rule 'gainst throwin' a match... but there ain't no honor in it, either.
Some'un throwin' a match... thet sounds like a good reason tae Challenge.

Having acclimated myself to the rules and regulations of this and other sports governed by the ties of honor ((RoH)). I see no need to involve the Council or Supervisors. A Renegade Baron may intercede upon any Right of Challenge Test issued by the Overlord. With or without consent of the challenger. Need I give a refresher? Xeric publicly petitioned for Loyal status. Since Rand did not reply, nor did Xeric's position in the standings change to reflect this petition, Xeric had every right to stand against the Overlord's Test.
Xeric, being Renegade, exercised this right. He lost. Take it as you wish. Deliberate or incidental. Xeric lost, therefor abolishing the challenge. It is the price you pay. Cletus, given the past I've read of you I'd expect better. But this is vindictive and childish. There was nothing you could do to stop it, and there is nothing that can be done to undo this fact.
As the lady Karen stated, it is reason to issue challenge. But calling for Xeric's removal because he accusedly "threw the duel" is speculative. To simplify, opinion. He lost. That's the tale of the tape. Grow up Cletus, or should I refer you to a tutor to teach you the rules of the sport?
When all is said and done. Get over it. I know I won't acknowledge a three time Overlord who whines 'cause his friend got beat out of a challenge. The rules clearly absolve Xeric of any wrong doing. Move on or roll over.

Lookin' at th' results o' th' match, it seems like Xeric din't prevent anythin'... 'cept Cletus steppin' in tae fight Sartan.
So Cletus gets all whiney 'bout nae bein' center stage. Nae th' first time thet's 'appened.
Then Xeric goofs up an' Challenges Roland tae early... seen thet kind o' thing 'appen afor too.

As usual, you are too stupid to understand my point, Wilder. And Lailie, please work on your reading and comprehension skills, lest you begin to resemble her.
Xeric stepping forward is not my issue. He was fully within his right as a baron to do so. And other than missing an enjoyable match with a skilled dueler, I have no issue there.
I do take issue with the disregard for the competition of this sport when the match was thrown. If we've reached a point where this is an acceptable practice simple because it is not disallowed in the rules, then I have nothing else to say.
Throughout my entire career I have sought the thrill of a challengable match. I don't cower behind Overlords or the Test, and embrace every match brought before me. To see a man barely move to engage his opponent in the final two rounds and smile as he let himself be defeated is disgusting.

Where's yer proof, Ganderfald?
Thet Xeric defended instead of attacking in the final two rounds? Sartan's 'ardly one known tae do four cuts in a row. 'Tis clear enough they were both worried 'bout th' thrust towards th' middle o' th' match.
Thet Xeric Disengaged? E'er since Rand came back, people've been Disengagin' like crazy. It's th' new trend.
Thet Xeric smiled? Oh Heaven ferbid someone enjoy a duel, 'specially ifin they're losin'!
Yer own words prove me point, Ganderfald... "Throughout my entire career I have sought the thrill of a challengable match."
Yer mad 'bout nae bein' center stage. Ain't it enough thet Damien said 'e Challenged 'cause o' ye?

I really can't believe that you have the gumption to accuse someone else of wanting to be the center of attention, Karen.
You run around here with your holier than thou attitude "saving the city". You're constantly bragging about your titles but, really, the thought of dueling you doesn't strike fear in anyone's heart. You're running for governor so that everybody knows your name. And now you choose to stand up for the most idiotic of the barons merely because a group that you don't like criticizes him? Hilarious and oh-so very Christian of you.
If you want to be Xeric's great protector why don't you read him the challenge rules? He obviously couldn't handle that on his own.
So says the SENIOR baroness,

Wilder, you weren't present at the match so I'll chalk this up to another bit of your typical idiocy. Of course, if you had been, I'm sure your selective amnesia would have kicked in and you would have replaced whatever you saw with your own warped version. I will give you credit for an incredible imagination. I'm sure that's where your delusions of self-grandeur come from.
My proof is in what I witnessed in the final half of that match. And the only one who defends him is a lunatic who wasn't present to witness it.

This must have you severely riled up for no good reason.Cletus Ganderfald wrote:As usual, you are too stupid to understand my point, Wilder. And Lailie, please work on your reading and comprehension skills, lest you begin to resemble her.
Until you provide *proof* of what you claim. Xeric's judgment was his own as to what would help his predicament during the duel. All you stated is purely the opinion of your own. Calling for the action you did was well out of your boundaries.Cletus Ganderfald wrote:I do take issue with the disregard for the competition of this sport when the match was thrown. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the official calling the challenge have noticed the same as you and called an end to the match? As to my readings the duel and challenge itself continued on. Were they in on this great conspiracy too? Why exclude them in your raging?
There are such ideals as accepting defeat. Give me one *viable* reason to believe any of the slander you spread. You have quote, friends, end-quote therefor no response will be acknowledged unless from yourself.Cletus Ganderfald wrote:Throughout my entire career I have sought the thrill of a challengable match. Baroness, before you start spewing out the wrong end. You ought check your pen at the desk. When a Baron signs in such a manner it is obviously a God complex, otherwise associated with a "holier than thou'" attitude.Maria Graziano wrote:I really can't believe that you have the gumption to accuse someone else of wanting to be the center of attention, Karen.

P.S. - What relevance did your message have with the topic at hand? To me you simply lashed out against Mrs. Wilder. With whom you have a glaring vendetta against, and I've only been in town a month.
