I happen to peruse the Standings of the Outback on this damp summer's eve, curious as to where matters stand on paper, given that the corkboard of the Outback is rather like a tomb these days. And looking upon the names of the Opals, the sheer lunacy of one name nearly sent me screaming into the night.

The fact that Vincent Smith holds a title outside of that putrid Isle embaresses me! It embaresses me to know that his name shares a history with mine. I can only hope that the truly talented of this bloodsport feel their due share of humiliation and shame.

I have decided to tolerate it no longer. If I could strike his reign from the records, I would. But I cannot. So...I will issue challenge.

So, someone's finally taken umbrage at my having Icedancer and actually plans to do something about it. I must admit, I'm quite happy that it's you Anubis. I still remember our last brawl and how it turned out. Rest assured, I plan on beating you senseless, no matter what the result in the ring is.

Can we make certain that a qualified medic is on hand during the bout so Vince doesn't die of blood loss?

Right now, it appears that the time of the challenge will be on Tuesday, the 29th, around 9 or so EST.

The Drowess stopped briefly to read the comments written along the corkboard. A wicked little laugh escaped her list as the mud slinging started. Even though she figured it would likely serve Vincent better to simply hand over the Opal without a fight, it was probably necessary in his mind to mount some sort of resistance.

This should be quite a thing to see...

The Drowess double checked the time and date before setting off once more to explore the city.
