Dear Empress (Jewell).

The silver letter opener sliced through four pages in the back of the Journal. “Ooppss! I’m so sorry you poor, dear thing. It seems I accidentally cut a few too many pages out of you for this one letter I need to write.” Smirking at the inanimate object she violently slammed it down on the desk and viciously crumpled up the extra three pages, one at a time, before tossing them in the trash can next to the desk. "Less pages to have to remember to write in you low down, no good, mangey coyote!"

Dear Empress (Jewell),

Oh my goodness! I just got a letter from Tara and she has invited me to come and visit the Clubhouse sometime. I noticed that you guys all wear dresses a lot when I see you in the Inn. I was wondering if there is some sort of a dress code at your Clubhouse. I only have the one evening gown that I got for the wedding right now and my work outfit. Would either of those fit in there?

The only other thing I have is my jeans, but I have a couple of good pairs of jeans that I haven’t worn to work on the ranch yet that I could wear. They don’t have any rips, tears, or worn places on them. Or do I need to go and get myself a nice dress like y’all wear?

Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t mind having to wear a dress if that is what the dress code is there because I would like to come and visit sometime. I have heard a lot about it and it sounds like it would be fun to come for an afternoon when I get back from our trip. Maybe a skirt and top would work? Oh, I just don’t know! I surely could use a little advice if ya don’t mind.

Take care,
Des

“Babe, I’m going to run downstairs and send off this letter right quick,” she called into the other room to her handsome TDMF before exiting the sitting room of their suite at the posting Inn.

She skipped down the stairs and headed for the front desk. The portly owner of the fine establishment was there beaming. Des came to a halt before him and set the letter on the marble counter with a flourish and bright smile to him. “I need this letter sent back to Rhydin with the next mail coach please.”

The light shining off the bald pate of his head the man nodded to the cowgirl as she slid a silver crown across the gleaming surface to him in payment. “I will ensure that ye correspondence arrives unmolested My Lady.”

She crinkled her nose to him with a grin. “Please don’t call me that. I am no lady. Just call me ‘Des’ everyone does, Mister.” A wink and she was gone, headed back up the stairs to where her Beloved was putting the finishing touches on his packing.
