I'm officially making it known that I'm challenging Esper for his tower. Unlike my last challenge, this is not brought on by any ill will or malice, but respect for what he has done here on the isle and the desire to try myself against the best.

On the night of Wednesday, 28 December, I did bear witness to the Keeper of Fire challenge match ups between the challenger Vincent Smith and the Keeper of Fire, Etherean Esperwind.
Etherean took the lead in the first round of the first duel and held on to the lead throughout the duel to win it 5.5-3 in 9 rounds.
The second duel started with a lead for Etherean as well. Those who came to witness the challenge match got to see what happens when a fire elemental meets a wall of flames in round three of this duel. Vincent managed to wrestle the lead from Etherean in round 10 and to secure the win in round 11 5.5-4.5.
The third duel started with Etherean taking the lead again in round one. Though Vinny caught up twice, Etherean took the win in round 11 5.5-3.
Thus Etherean Esperwind succeeded in defending the Tower of Fire and retained the title of Keeper of Fire.
