Another Challenge for ShadoWeaver
I will again try to challenge for the right to bear the Dark Stone's burden, myself. It has been over thirty days, and Mur's challenge queue has stopped. I am sure we will both be happy for the challenge. Good luck, effendi.

On the evening of 6 February, Rakeesh Sah Tarna met Mur Ollavan for the 3rd time to challenge for the right to bear the Black Opal, ShadoWeaver.
The first duel, settled in the Pit, saw Rakeesh as the winner, winning 5-3 in 12 rounds.
The second duel, fought in a plain ring, saw Mur demonstrate why he's held the Opal so long, winning 5-3 in 5 rounds.
The third and deciding duel was fought in a Rask ring, with Rakeesh nearly scoring a shut-out, leading 4-0 after 5 rounds. And then Mur came back. After Mur narrowed the score to 4-3, Rakeesh finally managed to get his momentum back long enough to score the final point and get the win. 5-3 in 9 rounds.
After 7 successful defenses, more than any other Opal-holder has had, ShadoWeaver finally has a new bearer.
Congrats to Rakeesh on his win and to Mur for his remarkable reign.
As witnessed by the Orc.

:;Snaps his fingers reading the boards:: Damn, was hoping to get back into training with that rock. Oh well, maybe I can ask Rakeesh to supervise some training time. ::Heads for the Guild:: Nice job Bossman, that was a great run Mur. ::Leaves a box of cookies by the boards::
