Keeper of Earth Challenge Results

Post by DUEL Topaz »

On the night of Sunday, 16 October, I did bear witness to the Keeper of Earth challenge match ups between the challenger Vincent Smith and the Keeper of Earth, Artemus Kurgen.

The defender and the challenger, each accomplished a shut out in the contest for the Tower of Earth. But not in the first of the three duels fought that evening. Artemus took the lead in the first round and kept adding to it unopposed until Vincent scored a hit in the sixth round. But Vinny was not able to add any more hits to his score. Artemus took the first duel win 5 to 1.5 in eleven rounds.

The second duel was dominated by Vinny and got him a shut out win in nine rounds.

But Artemus turned that around in the third and last duel, dealing Vincent a shut out in ten rounds. Thus Artemus Kurgen succeeded in defending the Tower of Earth and retained the title of Keeper of Earth.

Of further interest might be that the Keeper defended his title without even once calling upon his elemental power.

Your freakish win will only keep you your key for a few more days, novice.
