As I handed him the breast plate, he looked as though he might be reluctant to take it, but at length, he did. His hands slid over the polished metal as he traced the devices etched into it.
As he turned away, I wondered if perhaps it had been too soon to give it to him. He stopped, with his back toward me, his focus on the inside of the piece. What ever he saw there brought him up short. I had not inspected his personal property, but perhaps I should have.
For the moment, the remainder of the armor was locked away. When he was ready, it would be returned.
I glanced into the hallways to see Brother Vincent, and gave him a smile. "It has been a long time Brother since we saw you here. Is there something I can do for you? How is your patient, Michelle?"

He shook his head, looking somewhat distracted. "No, I haven't made any progress with her. I've decided to try and get Rhaine in here, just to make sure it gets done right, but for now, I just keep her in stasis."
He looked over at Rollo for a moment, giving him a polite nod before turning back to Alia. "Just let me know if you have any need for me. I'll be around."

I made last rounds to see all of our charges, saving our amnesia patient for last. I found him in the Common room, still holding the breast plate. I have never seen this armor style before, but I am no student of armies and forces. I can remember some of what Xenograg had taught us though, and this design was unfamiliar. I walked into the room, deliberately making enough noise to assure that I did not startle him.
"Good evening," as I sat down across from him. "We're going to have to give you a name, even if only for a short time. It is awkward to have nothing to personalize you when we speak, and I would rather not call you 'hey you'." I gave him a smile. Perhaps he would choose a name that would bring about some memories.

He walked around the Hospice. He then walked outside and looked into the sky his golden eyes flicker slightly. He leans against the wall quietly listening to a cool breeze. A few people walk by and stares at the Half-elf just leaning there doing nothing. Pulls out a knife and begins to spin it thinking about the warrior.
He shook his head and put the knife away and just stared at the cloudy sky. "rain" He mutters and just sits there.

She sat unmoving in the shadows of the rooftop. The half elf Dimitri wandered out of the Hospice. He leaned against the wall a moment, as though pondering.
He has certainly been through many trials and tribulations, though it appears he's mastered the phase shifting problem he'd had when last we'd spoken.
A light rain began to fall, and I am thankful that for the moment, I have the shelter of the eave to keep under and dry.

His hands must have moved over the strange armor at leasy a dozen times, tracing the designs etched into the red polished steele. Across the chest was the raised relief of a dragon's head the back and sides were molded to look like a skeletal ribcage. Cold blue eyes look up as the robed woman sits down in front of him "I think I have found a name for myself" Turning the breastplate over in his hands, he showed her the piece of bone along the inside of it. "I think my name is, Rollo, Rollo Al'Vandraset." Steady arms hold the breastplate out to her for personal inspection.

Name found
He showed me the name on the reverse of the breast plate. "So, may I call you Rollo then?"
I settled into the opposing chair to talk with him. The name was clearly written on the piece of bone.
"That is an unusual device your armor is etched with. I do not recognize it, nor the name Al'Vandraset. Perhaps you recognize the name?"
His gaze was cold and aloof, and I wonder if the name has some meaning for him, a meaning I do not yet comprehend.

As the rain began to come down harder Dimitri turned and looked at lucelei's hidding spot and grinned. He turned and walked back inside, He walked around and saw Alia anor and the Warrior talking all he did was watch from a distance.

The portal opened and I walked onto Twilight Isle for the first time in a very long time. As I lowered the robes hood, I saw Dimitri and he smiled and pulled a chair out next to him, "need a seat?"
I settled onto the chair, happy to see him, but troubled by his withdrawn nature of late. "Is something wrong Dimitri?"
With a puzzled look, he asked me what I meant.
I sent Hubie for a glass of tequila, "you have been rather distant, and I wonder if our latest patient is troubling you?"
He shook his head, denying that anything was wrong.
I nodded my thanks to Hubie, "I'd hoped you could just sit and talk with him, soldier to soldier and see if you can help him remember."
Dimitri frowned slightly, "I don't think there is really anything I can do to help him remember."
He glanced down at the table, and I wonder if I ask too much of him after everything he's been through in this latest war Azilla was engaged in.
I took his hand, "I thought perhaps if you could just talk to him, you both have a soldier's background and it might trigger memories. I can't be certain, but we can hope."
As I sipped the tequila, I asked Dimitri if he'd ever seen the device on Rollo's armor. He thought he may have, but could not recall just where or when.
It was time for me to go too soon, but rounds were needed and I bid Dimitri a good evening.

Setting the armor off to the side, azure blues look at the elven man. " I don't see why not? Sister Alia Anor and yourself are the only people around here that I know." His eyes remained cold and aloof, hiding his inner thoughts and what he was feeling. Turning slighlty he cocked his head to the side, assuming a conversational air.

The white robed woman walks past the Common room, a smile curving her lips seeing Dimitri with Rollo.
Perhaps with another warrior to talk to, he might regain memories.
She headed for the offices, a couple of messages needed to go out. Perhaps someone at the Temple knows of Rollo Al'Vandraset.

"I dont know what to really talk about. But Sister Alia anor wants me to talk to you to see if I can help you remember your past." He shifts in his seat. "So you dont remember anything from the time you awoke the other day?"

Smoke and Worry
It was late when I arrived at the Annex, hoping that perhaps Dimitri had returned from Azilla.
As I stepped in and lowered the hood of my robe, he slid behind me, wrapping me into a gentle hug, "Hey there," I whispered to him.
He kissed my cheek, "How have you been?"
"I've been good, and I saw you talking to Rollo, how did that go?"
He shrugged, "Okay I guess."
I told him that I have sent word to the Temple. Perhaps someone there has seen the design and device on his armor somewhere before, and we then we headed for a table to sit and talk. The retirement ceremony was over. Dimitri was a free man now, and he asked how soon he could move into the Temple. We would have to Brother Zed, but I know there are rooms available.
We sat amiably for a while until Brother Vincent arrived. He's been rather erratic, but tonight he came in and announced to Shandren Kurgen that he was going to kill Artemus in the ring.
Anne Xile, the local criminal, spoke up, "Vince, please don't." She believed he would do so too.
He smirked, "never said I would, just trying to get you in the spirit of things."
She was pale, "please don't joke about that, please don't?"
I frowned and looked at Dimitri. This is not how the Temple wants to be perceived by the public, but Dimitri asked me to leave him be.
Vincent then inexplicably took Shard into a magic ring, and demolished her. Intentionally, and with malice afore-thought. His cruelty was startling as he told her she'd made a good statement.
Something is very wrong with Brother Vincent.
After he left, I glanced at Dimitri, "are you going to duel? Or sit here and become a flabby elf?" I was teasing, and he seemed to consider his answer to me carefully.
"Hmm... sit here with you, or duel. I think I will stay with you tonight."
At length, it grew late, and I returned to the Temple, worried about both Rollo and Vincent, but very happy that Dimitri is free from the Azillan Guard.
