My thanks to Tara and Gren. You two have me in stitches regularly, and I really needed it last night. This was just so perfect:
Tara: It's funny you should mention rules, Grenny. ::Eyes Jewelsie like she should play along:: Because Jewelsie an' I came to tell you something.

Tara: While you were trouncing poor Morgan, I took the time to read the many, many rules about one becoming OverRanger an' APPARENTLY ::eyes widening a little:: you must kiss the first two unwed females who congratulate you.

Tara: ::She seesaws a finger between herself and the Empress, indicating them as the two in question::

Gren Blockman: No it . . . ::then he stops and crosses his arms, staring at Tara:: Well, I guess that leaves *you* out. Missus Blockman. ::pointed glare::

::Grin:: He is witty, right?! Definitely got me on that one! I was laughing so hard I couldn't type.

I love you all, I do, but Gren's player, I have a special kind of appreciation for. He is very gracious to play with me as often as he does and keeps me thoroughly amused with the things he has Gren come out with.

I don't recall ever laughing as much as I have in the last year playing with Gren than in all my years previous playing.

Most of all, aside from his comedic timing and wit, he is the kind of player we should all strive to be, IMO. Plays with everyone, is drama-free, very cordial, polite and you just leave the room feeling great afterwards.

Just an all around nice and extremely talented RPer. And, to Gren's player, congratulations on the Overlord title even if my nutjob is not too happy about it! LMAO!

Agreed 100%.

I don't think there's one other player who gives as much to the community by just being in the room than Gren does.

Aw, thanks guys. It's my pleasure to be able to game with all of you. Let's hope Gren's Overlord reign is as entertaining as the last year or so has been!

Cross posted from RDI, but I felt it deserved some space over here too.

Lots of thanks to Rhiannon D Harker's player as well as Brian Ravenlock's player for their help in last night's AMT event in the Marketplace.

Props to Lem DeAngelo for calling the shindig.

And huge props to all of the vendors and character businesses that offered door prizes or booths; LadyAjaBird, The Mogul, ALL of the awesome people behind the Shanachie Theater, Katt Batten, Marin, Elena, Jenai Ravenlock, Caroline Granger, Kerri Al'Tuatha Ravenlock, Ciarth Whitemane, Johnny Storm, Rosa Egorwrath, and Myllyanna Lotus and Brian's Chamber of Commerce.

Lastly, thank you to EVERYONE who came out for the event whether it was to hang out at the street festival, duel in the tournament, or some mix of the two. It was amazing to see such a big crowd and I'm super grateful to everyone that showed or supported in some way.

Indeed we are, Jewell. I always like to see writers doing something with the Opals.

Love love Falling (A Culmination).

No matter how other-worldly our characters may be, there's something so beautiful human about them as well :)

ETA: It would be better if that read "beautifully human"..
