I really couldn't be happier with how well the IFL season went. The writing and the room play was a lot of fun to be a part of and I think everyone involved had a good time. Thank you all for making it easy on me.
I also wanted to say thanks to everyone who took the time to help call the duels. Just like regulation dueling, this stuff doesn't happen if there isn't someone willing to call them. Claire Faron gets special mention for going above and beyond, calling 33% of all the 2013 duels. I'm gonna see if I can't get an MVR (most valuable ref.) icon put in for you.
Don't forget - PowerHouse Party next week to crown .. umm belt? .. the league's top fighter.

Smooth. That's the best way I can think of to describe the return season of IFL. It ran like clockwork and I'm already looking forward to the next season. So a big thanks to Kalamere for bringing back league dueling! Big ups for ALL the article writers this year that helped make the league legit. Hopefully next year we'll expand to more teams and (hopefully) have divisions and maybe even Fantasy IFL! Can't wait for season 4!
This is to Gren Blockman's player.
Out of all the players I've had the distinct pleasure of gaming with over the years, you rank up there with the best of them. One of the things that made me notice you late last year when I first met you, was that instead of having your character jump to conclusions, you tend to have him clarify by asking questions, which is something I do with my own character.
I am more dialogue-driven than description-driven in my play.
This is because I cannot focus long enough to form what I feel are sentences which make a lot of sense. I also don't think I do a good enough job of describing what exactly she is doing so to avoid confusion, I feel it's best if I have her SAY it then act it out. Both me and my character love to talk and I prefer to have the scene move forward through dialogue rather than a lot of action because it just makes it more comfortable for me, as a player. Since you are this way, at least as far as I've seen you play with myself and a few others, I can really appreciate your style.
I also like that you are so welcoming towards other players. One of the things I absolutely could never stand about what we do is sometimes (and I'm speaking in a general sense) some players tend to be narrow-minded and ONLY play with the same people, over and over. I've always said, for years, that it makes me highly uncomfortable to be in the room, watching everyone clique-up so to speak and there's one or two people all by themselves. It drives me insane, actually, because I feel bad for the ones left out.
I've always tried to broaden my horizons and have played with pretty much everyone I come across. Because the best memories are made this way, in my opinion. And, I've been blessed with having a lot of gaming partners over the years, but partners are for your char's overall SL, not every minute of every day, and they aren't THE end-all solution to RP, IMO. There's others out there too.
Collaboration is essential to what we do. Rhy'Din is not any one player's story but everyone's character's story. It makes me happy in the face, as Tara might say, to see another player (YOU) reaching out to others and incorporating their character's into your scenes.
If I could hand you an award I would.
So, in lieu of that, please accept my heartfelt appreciation and thanks for including me in your little corner of our world.
I look forward to playing with you long into the future.

Just wanted to slap something up here real quick. My experience in IFL this season has completely trumped anything I've done since I started dueling mid last year and I just wanted to say everyone involved was phenomenal. The Staff, the participants and the contributors that spent hours writing material for our reading pleasure. I'm upset that I'm going to sit here twiddling my thumbs for an entire year but it really was fun. Thank you!

re: Woofgang Encounter - pretty neat event and as a trial run for potential future events, I think it went well. A lot of work went into the whole thing on the part of Spell's player (more than people probably realize) to ensure the mechanics were as level as possible between Woofgang and the Party of 10.
Hope folks had fun (wish more had come out to watch!) and am looking forward to the next one!
