The Minister of Culture and Baron of Dragon's Gate, Sheridan "Dris" Driscol put in a fashionably late appearance. He was dressed immaculately in bold blue and silver, and arrived on the arm of his life partner, the Minister of Technology and Squire of New Haven, Rhys Germain. The former Governor of Rhydin worked the crowd with his tireless charm and good cheer, pausing to chat with anyone interested in engaging him in gossip. Sticking close to the ballroom floor, he expanded his socializing to include as much dancing as possible, being well versed in numerous historic steps and happy to show off. Most of his dance card was reserved for Rhys, of course, but he made room for plenty of others. He was certain to thank their hosts for a wonderful time and congratulate them on their business anniversary milestone, wishing them good fortune in the years to come before taking his leave with his man.

Rhys arrived in the company of his wonderful life partner, Sheridan Driscol. In contrast to the bard’s more colorful ensemble, he had chosen a suit of martial black with gold detailing that married historical flare with more modern sensibilities.
Over the course of the night, he could be found working the crowd at his partner’s side, chatting with friends, sampling the vegetarian nibbles, and dancing with nearly anyone who wanted to take a turn around the dance floor with him. And like his partner, he made sure to congratulate their hosts on the important milestone for their business.

The duelist and baker called Gatito Lindo arrived sans his Spaniard, dressed as a proper gentleman of a bygone era in shades of grey and black. He spent the evening talking with the other guests, indulging in a lot of champagne, and dancing with any friends who wanted a turn with him.
Halfway through the night, he melted into the crowd and vanished, not to be seen again.
