Hey you guys! We had another fun challenge tonight and this time it was for Dockside!

Now, Jackson used to be the holder of the Dockside baronial ring, but after challenge, he resigned the ring and so that left it to the Barons' Council to decide who to elect as their champion to defend the barony. The Council chose the senior-most baron, Anubis Karos, and that's why we had this challenge tonight!

Our challenger tonight was Mira Burke, her second attempt at Dockside and looking for her first baronial Arena title! She fought under her own unique banner, and while she had no second, she had many persons of honor including her partners Wren Ariti, Lesinda Helston, and Kira Adia; her Son, Haru Jeong; and her Grandson, Seo Jeong.

Defending the title was Anubis Karos who gave me many names to call him by: the Lord of Tears, the Golden Wolf, and the Reality of Nyarlothep. He fought under a banner of a stark black background with a silver Eye of Ra, threaded through by a cobra. His second was Salvador Delahada. And his Lady of Honor was Tetra the immortal, in absentia.

As the Council's Champion, the honor of selecting the format went to Anubis who selected a best of three challenge!

The first fight began with the customary trading of blows. Doesn't always happen this way, but it certainly feels right when it does! Mira was fighting with what looked like a pretty big case, and Anubis was using a blade. Mira soon took the first lead of the night, but she could never get very far away with Anubis following each of her points with one of his own. That is up until the ninth round. In the eighth round, Mira managed to edge ahead, but instead of catching up like he'd done the whole fight, Anubis moved low and Mira came high for the final point!

FINAL: Mira Burke def. Anubis Karos, 5 - 3 in 9 rounds.

With the first fight under her belt, Mira was soon ready to go for the second while Anubis was looking to see if he could keep her from gaining the ring! It certainly looked like he was determined as Anubis was the first person to find a point in the second fight! Mira stuck with it though, swinging that heavy case around for all it was worth and tying things back up in the third! Mira then proceeded to score three more unanswered points! It was starting to look like the Challenger and her case were going to run away with it! But Baron Karos was still in the fight! For two rounds he held Mira scoreless, matching her blow-for-blow. Then in round 10, he found his second point of the match, finally finding a crack in Mira's defense. When Mira went for another score, this time Anubis defended, closing that gap a little bit more! But would it be enough to keep the fight alive? It would not! Mira's big case finally opened and revealed what she was hiding all along! A really big gun with a little flag that said BANG! And that was enough to take the fight!

FINAL: Mira Burke def. Anubis Karos, 5 - 3 in 12 rounds.

Well tried, Baron Karos!

Congratulations Mira Burke on her first baronial title, the new Baron of Dockside!
