King of the Ring: Might of the Dragon
Tournament Results
On Friday, August 6th at 8:15PM ET we had nine contestants for the King of the Ring! Maggie Harker, Salvador Delahada, Gatito, Rachael Blackthorne, Yuzuki Kuwabara, Ebon Ilnaren, Haru Jeong, Matt Simon, and Anubis Karos! It was an intense melee that lasted for the entire night, overseen from above by the great dragon Felgar, son of the mighty Velgr. Throughout the fight, participants not only had to be on guard from each other's attacks, but also from attacks from Ashene as she threw her spear down into the ring causing electric bolts and chaos among the pillars!
Matt and Anubis were the first to be eliminated after each being the focus of several rounds of attacks from the collective competitors! The attacks spread out then and it took several more rounds for Haru to be ejected from the ring. Ebon, Sal, and Rachael were next drop down in health and be in danger of elimination, but Rachael held on while Sal and Ebon were knocked out of the competition. Our final three competitors were Yuzuki, Gatito, and Rachael. Gatito looked the strongest heading into the final rounds with Yuzuki right behind him, but he knocked her right out as soon as he could as the two went after each other. Our final two were Rachael and Gatito, using whatever energy they had left to try to edge the other. In the end it was Rachael who found an advantage and managed to become the King of the Ring!

Tri-Sport Champs!
Congratulations to all of our Tri-Sport participants who not only get to keep their imbued weapons but will also be blessed by Velgr for the rest of the cycle and receive one extra fancy (up to a maximum of five) until the Fall Cycle begins for use in regulation dueling.

Velgr's Honored Fighters!
All of our fighters demonstrated honor in entering this tournament. Velgr bestows 500 nobles to each participant that did not retrieve and imbue an essence from his Dragon Cache, but participated in entertaining him in the fight.
