Another party? An excuse to get dressed up in his absolute best? Of course Dris was there! In the company of his loving boyfriend. Ready to sample all the booze and dance with anyone in need of a partner. Though the majority of his card was reserved for Rhys, he made the time to mingle and flirt with all their friends, and any newfound acquaintances too.

Rhys arrived arm-in-arm with Dris, wearing his fanciest suit yet, dark blue to his boyfriend’s sparkling white. He was ready to sample all of the specialty cocktails and vegetarian offerings the party had to offer. And he was ready to spend the night dancing, too. With Dris and with their friends.

Scarlett had panicked when Issy mentioned that she might have to attend the ball that she had been trying to get Tass and Issy to go to together! With several dress ideas in mind, she was determined to make the best one she could just in case she did have to attend. Borrowing a few table cloths, some bed sheets, several different curtain panels, she had done her best to fashion one that resembled a dress she had admired while window shopping. She had no intention of actually wearing the dress, but it was created just in case.

The witch was there! Silver glinted like tinsel in the polish of her horns, but she wore few other adornments, letting her ice blue dress and the collection of tattoos along her arms and shoulders do the talking without extra accessories:

While she'd picked out a pair of heels, her comfortable high-top sneakers were hiding in her purse, ready to be slipped on and concealed by her long skirt if her feet got too tired!

Skid and Dawn's outfits. Skid made them, with a little help acquiring the raw materials.

The fabric of their outfits were a silky, iridescent sort of taffeta, smooth and dark. It looked like blackened wine, brightening slightly in ambient lighting and, from certain angles, taking on a vague violet tinge.

Skid’s suit trousers ended above the ankles, intentionally frayed, leading up to a buttoned shirt as black as pitch. Over it was a vest, matching the trousers, the same was true for the coat and its split tails. But the true art was in the bones. His vest was cinched to his body by ribs and claws, wired decoratively together into a wretched embrace. His hands, fingers, claws, and down below his ankles even his talons were covered by carved bones, and his head was adorned with the full skull of a Dragonborn. The skull’s left eye socket was covered by the cast that coated all of these bones: platinum, mixed and powdered with a blackened, reddish pearlescence. The skull itself was split in half down the center and fitted back together with a decorative carving not unlike a puzzle. Each side had a specially fitted space for a horn to slip through, and so their ebony luster could be seen, rather than the cloth which normally covered them. The right eye socket was covered just enough to leave his right eye exposed, as he normally did.

Dawn’s gown was frayed at the base, through each and every layer of taffeta and gauzy black fabric, and caught by straps at just the right points to let each footfall draw the front hems only high enough for her shoes, platformed heels constructed from the ends of spinal columns and sharpened on all sides to unforgiving points and edges, to peek through, with talons fitted over the slightly pointed toes. Once her skirts reached the base of her corset, they were held down and wrapped in a wickedly clawed little set of arms, pressing against the bottom of her waist where the pointed ends of the corset met, with bones wrapping around her hips and into the base of the spine running along her own. Like her counterpart’s, the ribs wrapped around her body, hugging to and accentuating her figure over the darkly iridescent fabrics with a decoratively-curved set wrapping around the base of her wings on her back.

Her shoulders were left bare of fabric, but a second set of arms and claws reaching up from behind hooked over each and clasped together between her collarbones. Her gloves reached nearly to the shoulder as well, adorned with split and twisting bones that ended by capping her each finger in claws. Finally, wrapping into the fiery-golden mane of her hair was the jaw of a Dragonborn, every tooth not just intact, but sharpened, just barely letting her lips peek above them. Each and every one of the bones adorning her outfit were, of course, cast in the same vividly dark platinum mixture as Skid’s. Each of them had a carefully-arranged vampiric rose affixed to the breast of their outfits, his on the left, hers on the right; a gift to ensure the outfits could twist life deftly into the death they’d wrapped themselves in.

They would stand out like a pair of collapsing stars amongst the shining and shimmering outfits of the ball’s other attendees.

((Sorry for lack of images. They uh, don't have exact images for this kind of thing!))

Mathian would be arriving with his fiancee for the ball, Edward was always a constant guard for Sylista but with him there, the guard was free to keep a surveillance in the area rather than be so close at hand...and hey, there was a wide spread of food. The shifter of a guard would be happy to eat their share.

Bart only had so much fancy in his wardrobe. He had about a 60% chance of getting mistaken for the waitstaff, but hey, he was on-brand and on-theme, so hey!

Senna arrived to bring a little heat to the party, and was a source of... ahem... warmth. She happily interacted with those that would speak to her, but also seemed to speak to herself, perhaps. A lot.

Ann made a daring choice for tonight’s outfit, and even went si far as to hire a photographer to take a picture of her posing unabashedly in her boldly cut dress on the stairs of her house!

She sent the picture to her date’s phone, keeping her in anticipation until she had a chance to see how she looked in person. And what a looker Ann was!

Her date was her almost 6 year old son, Alex, who wore an all white ensemble to accompany his mom to the ball. They snuck out early to get ice cream on the way home.

Coydog will be arriving with one Mr. Bart F. Fitzroy. The denim dress is certainly a choice.
