The Rainbow Tide
Beginning at sunset on June 8th, a strange magical tide will begin to wash ashore on Seaside Beach. It'll shimmer and it glow, filled with ethereal color—and mystery. Anyone who steps into this tide will experience a vision, a memory, or some kind of secret message. Some may even experience some kind of magical transformation, receive a personal quest, or receive a blessing from the sea.
These experiences will be personal to each character, tailored to their inner truth or life trajectory. They may foreshadow future events, reveal inner conflict, provide a bit of affirmation, and much more.
The OOC
The Rainbow Tide is a writing prompt, intended to spark character growth, provide opportunity for new story pathways, and add a bit of fullness to everyone's playing experience. It can be utilized in live or forum play.
The effects of the Tide are wholly voluntary. If you decide your character experiences nothing at all while splashing in the colorful waves, that's perfectly okay! Likewise, the experiences are limited only to a player's imagination.
