Spring into Punches in the Outback
You and anyone you know are cordially invited to partake in the Spring All-Ranks Tournament. The event will be held in the Outback on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, starting at 8pm by the Eastern Clock (participants must check in no later than 8:05pm; tournament entry will close at that point). The format for this All-Ranks Tournament is Gutcheck.
Ever-festive, the Outback is in full SPRING - CRASH EDITION:
Gutcheck
The Gutcheck format is a new choice that we're going to roll out this ART. The format does not affect the duels themselves but introduces a new wrinkle into the seeding. All fighters will be randomly seeded on the night of the ART. However for the first round the high seeded fighters will get their choice of opponent. These seeds will persist through the rest of the tournament and will shape how following rounds will be determined as if they were the fighters seeds all along. So by example:
These six fighters have signed up in the example ART. Joe gets first dibs and decides that he would rather fight Jack Rabbit in round one than later. That now puts Jack at seed six automatically to ensure they will fight. Now Lucky decides he'd rather fight Pickle which leaves Severus to fight Harry by default. The following would be the new official seeds for the night:
In the case of an odd number of entrants the first seed will simply receive a first round bye and then we will proceed with the seeding process. Due to the nature of this event there will be no early seeding advantage. We would like to apologize for the last notice of this ART, we normally want to give would-be fighters a better heads up but some circumstances arose that threw a wrench in this.

Seedings will be random and then determined in order as explained above. The tournament format will be based on number of entrants and may be double elimination, single elimination, or round robin. Please sign up below; we look forward to seeing you May 31st!
