Nikolai was continuing his stealthy gift giving, though he was pretty certain there wouldn't be any sneaking up on Mrs. Gallows. That was okay, because as usual, he was prepared with a backup plan. Instead of playing ding dong ditch, he stopped by the Sassy Owl, dressed up like a bicycle delivery boy! The only real flaw was he didn't have a bicycle, but really who would notice any of that? He'd waited until he was right around the corner before gluing on the totally real looking mustache, and finished out his disguise with a pair of dark large lensed sunglasses. It was doubtful that anyone would recognize him, despite being a baron. It only took him three throat clearings to get to his deepest voice so he could proclaim that he had a delivery for Claire and Avy Gallows. The woman behind the counter smiled at him, clearly she thought he was the handsomest bike delivery guy, before asking where she was supposed to sign.
Fortunately, Nikolai could think fast on his feet. He pointed to the door claiming. "I left it on my bike, I'll be right back!" That was a lie of course, he neve went back.
