A Piano for Winterfest

It was Winterfest in Rhydin and a present had been delivered for Lirssa Ilnaren, 17 months old, who had already discovered the magical sounds touching piano keys could make. One rule was being observed, never bang on the child sized piano. She spent time poking the keys and listening to tones. Having several people in her family with musical training had sparked her interest. Pearl and Velen watched from the doorway as their daughter made friends with what might be a passing interest or become a lifelong passion. The magic of the holiday season was alive and well in the wide eyes of a wee girl learning to make an instrument sing.
