Winterfest Snow & Ice Art Celebration
When winter's chill arrives, snow and ice switfly follow! Yet despite the cold temperatures, there's something about the white all around and the starkness of the frozen surfaces that inspires art. So during Winterfest, creative souls emerge, packing snow together and chipping away at the ice to shape it all into works of art. Their creations range from the simple classic snowman--with sticks for arms, coal for eyes and a carrot nose--to elaboratly sculpted statues carved from huge icy blocks. All are wonderful, and all are a welcome sight to see!
