Get out your formal dresses, and have your tuxes tailored. Governor Allen's Winter Ball is coming to The Golden Pearl, Saturday December 21st, at 8:00 PM (EST). So Save the date, get a date, come alone, or bring the whole family!

2024 Winter Ball

The Golden Pearl's halls have been decked quite extravagantly. As the site for the 2024 Governor's Winter Ball, management and staff went all out to get into the holiday spirit!

The Grand Ballroom has been set aside for this evening's affair, come inside and enjoy a meal, dance with your loved ones on the open dance floor to the sounds of a symphony orchestra. (Spotify Link to Tchaicovsky's Nutcracker) Governor Allen himself will be in the hot seat for Saint Nick, and taking your present requests.

In the foyer stands the governor's take on a wishing tree. A tall Yule tree awaits decorating, next to the tree is a table upon which rests hundreds of clear, heart shaped, ornaments. Open the top of the ornament, and speak your wish into it, then capture that wish by covering the opening. Don't be startled as small animal appears on a branch. There are yule mice and chickadees waiting to deliver your wishes to the very tops of the tree.

((This is both a live and board event. The live event will happen Decemeber 21st, 2024 @ 8:00 PM Eastern and go all night. Feel free to post your outfits and any experiences you choose to share in this thread.))

Nikolai didn't know a whole lot about what colors went with which, but he knew that white went with everything. So He was really sure that when Abby showed up, he'd be able to match her no matter what. Even if his dad was pretty sure that there would be no returning the white tuxedo to the rental place. Something about it wouldn't be white anymore, whatever that meant.
