Though I fell just short of winning the Tower of Fire, the Brightest Flame contest has still fueled my desire to compete.
Those who know me and those who have witnessed me fight know full well my affinity for heat. While the Tower of Fire would be an ideal fit for an infernal being like myself, there is one other element in which heat reigns supreme.

Hi everyone! This challenge happened tonight and it was a doozy!
Challenging for the tower tonight was Marcella Brooks who was seeking her first tower. Marcella had the benefit of the Keeper's Blessing for having placed second in the last Archmage tournament.
Defending the tower was Salvador Delahada. Sal was looking for his first defense of the Tower of Earth.
Opting to forgo fighting in the Tower of Earth's special ring, the Keeper was first on the board for the challenge! He kept an early lead until the sixth round when Marcella pulled back ahead. The fight remained tight, but Marcella pulled herself to match point by the ninth round, and despite Sal's best efforts, she closed it out.
FINAL: Marcella Brooks def. Delahada, 5 - 3 in 11 rounds.
In the second match, Salvador came back with a vengeance, scoring three unanswered points before Marcella could even catch her breath. But she never found her footing and Sal shut her down scoreless.
FINAL: Delahada def. Marcella Brooks, 5 - 0 in 7 rounds.
Needless to say, we were set up for a pretty exciting third and final match. Marcella surged to an early lead, countering Sal's power in the last fight with her own three unanswered rounds. Salvador got on the board in the fourth round and tried to find some momentum to fend off Marcella. But the Keeper couldn't hold her off long enough to get back in the fight, and Marcella closed it out!
FINAL: Marcella Brooks def. Delahada, 5.5 - 2 in 8 rounds.
Congratulations to Marcella, the new Keeper of the Tower of Earth!
