2024 IFL Rank Advancement Requests

These are the IFL ranking rules

During the season, any fighter is eligible for a rank increase upon earning a minimum number of wins, which number will be specified at the beginning of each season. The minimum number of wins for increase in rank will be equal to one less than half of the total number of weeks in the regular season, rounded up (eg: in a 7 week season, the number would be 3, since half rounded up is 4, less 1). The fighter or manager may submit a rank-increase request to the league office once the minimum number of wins has been posted.

Fighters may only advance 1 rank in this manner during the course of the season unless they began the season as a Trainee. Trainees may advance 2 ranks, up to MiddleWeight, by satisfying both advancement criteria. (eg: 1 win to make FlyWeight, plus the seasonal criteria mentioned above. So a total of 4 wins in a 7 week season.)

Since we're doing a 10 match season, the minimum fight count to advance will be: 4

The rankings posted in the registration thread were only those fighters who participated in the 2023 season, which I do not believe Herne did. Start of season ranks for any new or returning fighters will be Trainee (those with little to no fighting experience) or FlyWeight (experienced in IFL or DoF). Though there are some other rules that award a Life Time Ranking boost for those with 20+ IFL fights and who meet certain lifetime PDPB minimums. (See IFL Ranking Rules for details).

Herne begins the season as a FlyWeight. Current ranks for all fighters can be found on their player cards, which are part of the Team display on the site (eg: Natural Weapons) and will be displayed on the matchup listings.

Requesting a rank increase for Crash. He's is in as a Trainee but should be listed as a Flyweight per the Nov 3rd standings, which have him ranked at Ruby.
