Trick or Treat at Pachinko Palace

It is no secret that Izumi is a fan of Halloween season. After all, the weekly Kabuki TV horror marathon is handpicked from her own extensive selection of horror films! This year, marking the 10th Anniversary of Pachinko Palace under Kabuki Street Rengou Kai leadership calls for a special celebration. On Halloween night the whole parlor will be decorated to suit the season, with a scare trail and haunt attraction being constructed and staffed on the second floor.

Everyone is invited to stop in and enjoy the haunt, and to trick or treat the storied pachinko parlor. All of the workers will be costumed, and rumor is that they will be handing out candy of the utmost quality and in generous quantities in honor of the Takamines love for the season.

Na-rae chose a costume she humorously thought fit someone who ran the books for the Kabuki Street Rengou Kai as wife and Vice Captain of the Heavenly Queen Izumi Takamine: the depressed salaryman. She seemed prepared to take on the hostess role during the night, though the Takamines' would need to duck out for a few hours early on to escort their daughter Trick or Treating about the Kabuki Street Community School before returning to the festivities.

Maggie came by with several of her older students to enjoy the scare trail and haunt. It was also an opportunity to catch up with the some of the Takamine family. The students left to continue on their Halloween adventure on the road to Overlook. Maggie left a present with Izumi for Mini Lisa; some books of Halloween themed stories and legends. The bundle included Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. If Lisa wasn't ready for some of the stories, just yet, they would be waiting when she was.

[Dakota Street]

One of Dakota's stops for the night was Pachinko Palace to grab some of that sweet, sweet candy... Especially since she knew they'd be giving out the good stuff!

While there she went through both the scare trail and haunt attraction, but spent most of the time trying to figure out how everything worked or what the next scare might be. But she thought that she totally would have been scared out of her mind if her brain didn't work the way it did! She'll blame it on being dressed up like Sherlock Holmes.

[Partly Cloudy]

Gatito dropped by Pachinko Palace with his friend and café manager, Zariyah, in tow. The pair of them—dressed as genderbent versions of Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz—took time to enjoy a horror film with the Takamine family and others who were present, as well as the haunt on the second floor. They also brought bakery boxes filled with Halloween goodies—all treats, no tricks!

[Velen Ilnaren]

On Halloween night, Velen surprised a number of his band students from the Kabuki Street Community School when he showed up at the Pachinko Palace dressed as Alice Cooper, complete with tall hat and cane.

Of course Dris and Rhys stopped in for a bit of fun and games to help celebrate the anniversary! They showed up as the famously gay duo Frog and Toad. Complete with the tandem bicycle.
