Each year in early May, every rooftop, balcony, and plaza in Cadentia joins in the Desert Sky Festival, celebrating the annual migration of the Pharaoh butterflies as they cross the Great Desert. As in past years, the Cadentia Bazaar Council will be opening up the rooftop garden of the Desert Gate Tower, welcoming visitors from across the vast desert and beyond.
Those attending the festival can spend the day enjoying the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Cadentia Bazaar. There will be kites to fly above the market square and long, flowing pennants to display glamoured messages and run up flagpoles. As the sun drops low, participants are welcome to take to the sky in colorful hot air balloons, offering an unmatched view of the city and the desert beyond, and release butterflies from cages to join in the migration!
The Desert Sky Festival is Cadentia's unique celebration of spring and marks the start of Beltane season across the continent. It is truly not to be missed!
