The Fires of Beltane 2023

Rhys arrived in the company of his life partner and Rhydin’s current governor, Sheridan “Dris” Driscol. He lingered a step behind while his lover placed a hawthorn branch upon the altar, watching with an inscrutable expression that soon became another easy smile when the bard returned to his side.

In comparison to Dris’ Bohemian style, Rhys had gone with something a bit plainer, choosing comfort over style for the evening. He wore a lightweight, vermillion sweater duster over a plain white tee, black jeans, and some comfortable black sneakers. Rubies glimmered in the piercings he wore in his earlobes and cartilage, and hidden amongst the rings upon his fingers were at least two magical artifacts.

Throughout the evening, he could typically be found close by Dris, keeping an eye on things while chatting with friends and family.

[Droet the Bold]

Droet the Bold dressed up for Beltane in a shiny green suit. He enjoyed the wine and hopping fires alongside Overlord Reign, always with a wide, but carefully toothless grin on his face.

Inspired by the bacchanalias of days long past and determined to sit and enjoy the sight of so many beautiful things prancing around the fire, Angel arrived in something far removed from his usual suits, flowing and almost ethereal in the way it caught moonlight over fire.

Lana and a newly-walking Alik arrive in a show of burgundy and sparkle and silk.They spend their evening mingling with friends, old and new, having drinks, and avoiding a spray of blue paint that simply wouldn't go with their attire.

[Morgan LaLuna]

In a direct contrast to the bright and golden creature that was Karma, Morgan came dressed in dark colors that made him bleed like ink into the night whenever he wanted to simply step away and harass friends or a particular Moon Elf he always seemed to be playfully prowling around. He could be seen mostly wherever the food and snacks were, and eventually claimed a spot close to the fire to bask in the warmth of the flames.

Nicole could be seen out and about mingling with friends and family. The firetamer wore green to enhance the color of her eyes.

[Rhiannon Brock]

Rhiannon mingled with family and friends during the firelighting ceremony. Part of the night would be spent dancing and jumping the fire with Eregor. The wrapped part of her dress was removable to make that jump easier.

[Zack Alcar]

Zack was out with Nicole. Mingling with friends and family. While dancing around with her and if she wished. Jumping the fire with her as well.

A very busy Eden was pleased to find a dress all picked out for her in the RRD closet (with special thanks to her teammates).

Colleen wore favorite dress to celebrate the season.

Darkmere decided to arrive at Beltane.
