Droet,
Cadentia was my first option but the retirement of that barony threw a wrench into those works. Seaside’s a barony I haven’t held yet, so I’m opting to take a shot at it by using the challenge grant from this year’s Madness tournament.
Looking forward to a good match!

Matt,
I can't say I expected to be challenged by you. I don't intend to give up Seaside, so I will see you in the rings.

We'll be squaring off this coming Sunday at 9pm; Eden (and at least 4 kegs of cherry coke) will oversee.

Re: Challenge for Seaside (Madness Grant)
On this night we had the very special Challenge for Seaside which was held at Seaside Beach!
Our challenger tonight was Matt Simon who came to this test-free challenge by placing second in this year's Madness Tournament! Matt's colors were black and yellow, he had no second, and his persons of honor were Koy, Thia, and Malachite!
Defending the title of Seaside Beach was Droet! Droet was looking for his second defense of the title! He fought under his yellow and blue flag with red crossed swords, he had no second, and his Lady of Honor was Azalea!
This being a test-free challenge as previously stated, we leapt right to the selection of format. Baron Droet selected a single duel!
In the opening round, Droet offered Matt a pool noodle with which to fight, but the offer was declined. Droet was the first to score as Matt swatted away the pool noodle. In the second round, Matt tried to grab for Droet's pool noodle, and the two traded blows. But Droet was on a roll, scoring in every single of the first four rounds such that heading into the fifth round, he was already at MATCHPOINT! But in round five, Matt gave a hint at what we all know he can do as he scored again, teasing a comeback! He held on for one more round, but ultimately it was not to be! With a final flourish of pool noodle, Droet secured the win!
FINAL: Droet the Bold def. Goldglo, 5 - 2 in 7 rounds.
Congratulations on your defense, Droet, Baron of Seaside!
Well-tried, Matt!
