Cradled in a cinched shut mesh bag, stuck through by a thumb tack and pinned to the middle of Jackson's notice of challenge, is the following object.

Written in black Sharpie, directly beneath that and at the bottom of Jackson's notice of challenge, is the following message.

Arena Management would like both parties to be aware that all rings will be thoroughly cleaned of rocks, pebbles, gravel, or any similar materials prior to the initial match of this challenge and each follow-up match, if any.

If you want to throw rocks, you'll need to bring them yourself.

This challenge happened tonight and it was super really so fun!

Jackson was the challenger, looking to pick up the baronial ring for New Haven for the first time! He fought under a banner with seven black halos on a red background. He had two seconds, Myra, and Axius, and his people of honor were Zylith, Rena, and Alexis.

Defending the barony was Salavador Delahada! Sal's banner was a golden crowned tribal sun rising over a symbolic line of water on a field of red. His Second was Gatito Lindo, and his People of Honor were the Citizens of Rhydin who have been enjoying free use of the New Haven pool during his reign!

The Baron selected a single duel format!

The fight opened with a stand-off as both fighters met up high! Jackson was first on the board, fighting with a pair of knuckle-daggers and some rocks which he used creatively to get an edge in the fight. While Sal used his tanto to try to find a way in, Jackson managed to score four unanswered points, bringing him to MATCH POINT! Sal got on the board in the sixth round by using those rocks against Jackson with a well-kicked one! They managed to hold each other off for another two rounds, but then a trade of blows brought the whole thing to a close!

FINAL: Jackson def. Delahada, 5 - 2 in 9 rounds.

Well-reigned, Sal! Congratulations, Jackson!

The new baron has chosen to be Renegade!
