Just east of the walls of the Adia Homestead, the Alflight River flows gently north until it merges with the Tiamori River many miles to the north-northeast. This stretch of river is calm and sedate. Far from its headwaters to the south, Alflight is spared the frequent floods and rapids of her more northern cousins, fed by the colder mountains and their seasonal melts.
Along the riverside, canopies, pavilions, and bounce houses of all kinds went up to provide shade and space for guests. A central pavilion is set up serving barbecue and cold drinks freely for anyone who visits, but plenty of space is available for anyone to bring their grills, smokers, ovens, instakitchens, and whatever else they wish to use for cooking. A tent is also set up for Adia Reserve Tea Farms to offer teas of all sorts, iced and hot, traditional and herbal, with a coffee bar also available courtesy of Endless Nights Café and Apothecary.

Two beaches stretch along a generous length of the river, north and south of the main event space. Visitors can play Ultimate Frisbee, dig holes, and swim to their heart’s content. Between the beaches, the shore line rises slightly, giving the perfect stretch for riverfront docks to service boats and watercraft. Space is limited and unavailable for large craft to dock, but is available for public use.

At twilight, visitors will be treated to a modest fireworks display over the water, and a very large screen will be set up for a viewing of Wall-E, Godzilla 1954, and Ghostbusters. Those who wish to stay nearby overnight can make use of one of several camp grounds set aside in the woods at the edge of the Estate, or book a room at the Village Center Inn in the village of New Thendozal, just west of the walled estate on the north-south road between the City and the lands to the south.

Rumor has it that local youths from the village are planning a bonfire somewhere nearby in a small clearing within the safe zone of the Wilds secured by the Estate. If any can find it, it is said that it will last through through the night and into first light, providing revelry and partying for those who desire a less sedate and more free-spirited end to their celebrations. There are no fliers for it and no word on official programs. Only whispers to be heard by the right people.
